Signal Processing for Sub-Terahertz Imaging
Based on abilities on the fields of semiconductor circuit and systems, our research team also has long experience with sub-terahertz imaging. We provide signal processing results that can make noisy images sharper, enabling effective detection of foreign bodies detected within an object.
Our Projects
Based on our long experience in developing sub-terahertz imaging systems, we develop signal processing algorithms that can be applied to a variety of detectors. The different nature of sub-terahertz compared to visible light imaging requires a different approach to image processing. Our state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms are optimized for detecting foreign objects in industrial applications, which can make a big difference in AI analysis or material screening.
With the support of the Korean government, we are leading the development of equipment that can help ensure food safety in the future, together with ModeonDahae corporation, Korea Food Research Institute, and Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute.
